Dr. Mary Rose Ramirez, MD
MSS, FAAD
Rose Dermatology Founder & Board-Certified Dermatologist
Dr. Mary Rose Ramirez is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and lifelong San Antonio resident. She earned her Bachelor's degree at the University of Texas at Austin, her Master's at the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center, and her medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She completed a preliminary internal medicine internship at the University of New Mexico, where she was named Preliminary Intern of the Year, followed by a Dermatology residency at Duke University, serving as Chief Resident in her final year.
Dr. Ramirez has presented at numerous national conferences and authored multiple peer-reviewed articles. She completed specialized training in cosmetic and procedural dermatology, including tumescent liposuction and SmartLipo, and has been recognized with the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery Resident Scholarship. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Texas Medical Association.
Her clinical expertise includes surgical dermatology, skin cancer prevention and treatment, laser surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Ramirez is committed to providing patient-centered, high-quality care and maintaining clear communication with referring providers to ensure coordinated, seamless patient management.

Sara Kerstetter
Board-Certified Physician Assistant
Sara Kerstetter, MPAS, PA-C, is a Board Certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology and is a native San Antonio resident. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA), graduating with honors and receiving the Judith E. Clover Most Outstanding Clinical Student Award.
Sara completed the Dermatology Diplomate Fellowship Program through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and currently serves on the SDPA communications committee. She is also an active member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants (TAPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
Sara is dedicated to providing high-quality care and creating a supportive, welcoming environment. She strives to ensure patients are active participants in every step of their care so they feel informed, respected, and confident in their treatment plan.
In her free time, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling abroad, serving at her church, and watching soccer and football (gig ‘em)!

Sophie Zook is a Licensed Aesthetician who specializes in personalized, results-driven skincare with a lifelong passion for aesthtics, she specializes in Chemical Peels, HydraFacials, Laser Hair Removal, Microneedling, and customized skincare routines that enhance natural beauty.
Sophie brings a patient-first philosophy to her practice. She creates a supportive environment where clients feel empowered and informed, specializing in corrective skincare and advanced facial treatments. Her goal is to ensure every patient feels comfortable and cared for in their own skin while seeing transformative, results-driven outcomes.
